Before-arrival Student Life Checklist
Prepare documents, housing, funds, connectivity, and post-arrival registration as five separate workstreams.
Travel and entry documents
Check travel-document validity, offer documents, e-Visa, and the university’s entry guidance. Mainland residents should also verify the permit and endorsement that apply to them.
Housing and arrival
Confirm move-in date, address, contact, deposit, and tenancy information. Do not transfer large sums to an unverified account. Keep a first-night fallback and transport plan.
Money and connectivity
Prepare usable payment methods, emergency funds, and bank security contacts. Research mobile service, campus internet, and transport payments, subject to actual eligibility after arrival.
Post-arrival tasks
Complete identity-card registration, university registration, and other steps according to the permitted stay and current official rules. Recheck documents and booking arrangements before departure.
